Wiser Conversations was founded by Derek Handley in April 2020 as we faced our new surreality of the COVID-19. Ché Zara Blomfield joined soon-after as Creative Producer.
We believe there is no better time to reflect and respond to what really matters to us as we see out this pandemic.
Wiser is hosted by the Aera Foundation, a New Zealand-registered charitable trust.

A live online audience.
Wiser Conversations started with a live online audience who join via Zoom, giving attendees the opportunity to engage with other attendees, the host and submit questions for our guest.
The recordings of our conversations have then been edited and produced as a podcast. Some of the live elements are edited out, but most of the audience questions are included.
